Abstract:

Technology, at its best, makes life simpler for the consumer.  The Apple iPhone is one example of this.  What are key considerations in the roadmap for technology platforms to make it easier for physicians to take care of their patients and for patients to find it easier to successfully follow this treatment plan?

Chris Strahorn has spent more than twenty five years working at the intersection of technology and product. He utilizes his deep technical, business, and operational expertise to ensure that technology is an essential element of a company's success.

He's currently the CTO at Rise Health, which acquires clinically-excellent primary care practices in the southwest and provides clinicians with the tools, data, time & resources to deliver the best patient care in a global risk environment.

Noted Accomplishments:

  • Founded the Healthcare Business Unit at Accolite, helping the business to grow from 10 people to over 3000 and through its strategic investment from New Mountain Capital.
  • CTO and technical leadership at multiple early stage startups.

Currently serving as Chief Medical Innovation Officer at Talis Clinical, a Getinge company.  Board certified in anesthesia and critical care with fellowship training in cardiac anesthesia. Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesia at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. MD from the Harvard-MIT division of Health Sciences and Technology, and BSc/MSc in Biomedical Engineering from MIT.

A seasoned executive having led start-ups, early-stage, and mid and large-cap public company transformations and growth, opening new markets and segment expansion has been his successes. Prior to Raapid, in ’20, he adeptly guided, as CEO, DeliverHealth's spin out from Nuance, where he held multiple roles, Senior Vice President Provider Solutions and as General Manager led its Healthcare Division - prior to its sale to MSFT.
 
Michael currently serves as President, Chief Growth Officer for RAAPID, Inc. a healthcare technology company serving payers, healthcare providers, and other supporting organizations with a purpose-built platform with artificial intelligence (LLMs, and LKMs) to power workflow applications effective in value-based care. RAAPID's Risk Adjustment applications and AI-assistance curate structured and unstructured patient data to extract accurate chronic conditions, identify gaps in care, and analyze population health trends to then easily and with little friction surface to and assist with care gap closure to capture appropriate revenue, improve care, and reduce administrative costs. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for two early-stage companies and Community Health System, South Florida. As well he sits on the University of Miami Herbert School of Business, School of Management Sciences Board of Advisors and is a guest lecturer and adjunct professor within the School of Health Management Policy Michael is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford, OH and has his MBA from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL.

Srini Bollimpalli is an experienced Physician Executive that has successfully built and led teams to effect change management at both a national level and at a value-based care startup level.  He is double board certified in Anesthesiology from Johns Hopkins and Interventional Pain Management from Cleveland Clinic Foundation. 

He has been able to leverage his front line clinical and business experience from hospital and clinical office settings to address challenges that patients and physicians/clinicians face in helping patients achieve more healthy days.   

He believes that clinicians and health tech companies working together during the full solutions platform development to implementation phases can help make it easier for physicians/clinicians to treat their patients and for patients to engage in their own health journey.
