In light of the recent guidelines around social distancing we must cancel the in-person portion of the event.
As they say “the event must go on”, so, for April, and maybe May we are going 100% Virtual. Please see the new call in numbers and structure around connecting to ensure everyone can enjoy the presentation. Don’t forget, make it a Healthy Lunch!
As HIMSS educational partners, we appreciate the organization’s support of future workers through scholarships, program assistant opportunities, early careerist community and the student task force. Our talk highlights degree programs, curriculum requirements and specific technologies utilized in undergraduate and graduate BSHIM programs. “We will discuss how HIMSS members can be involved by promoting health informatics education, working on advisory boards, offering student internships and hiring graduates.”
